Die Rolle

Für die Weiterentwicklung unserer tablano Plattform suchen wir eine:n Werkstudent:in mit Schwerpunkt Frontend und kundennahe Anwendungen. Du arbeitest an modernen Benutzeroberflächen, datengetriebenen Features und KI-gestützten Produktfunktionen, die bei Versorgern und Kommunen täglich im Einsatz sind. Dabei stimmst du dich eng und direkt mit unserem Produktmanagement ab, übersetzt fachliche Anforderungen in nutzerfreundliche, modulare und skalierbare Lösungen.

Deine Aufgaben

• Frontend-Features und wiederverwendbare UI-Komponenten für unsere Webanwendung
• Dashboards und datengetriebene Oberflächen, die unseren Kund:innen den Alltag erleichtern
• KI-gestützte Features und intelligente Workflows (z. B. mit n8n und Large Language Models)

Dein Profil

• Du bist immatrikuliert in einem Studiengang mit Informatik-Bezug (Informatik, Data Science, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Medieninformatik o. ä.)
• Solide Kenntnisse in HTML, CSS und JavaScript/TypeScript sowie praktische Erfahrung mit einem modernen Frontend-Framework – idealerweise Angular
• Erfahrung mit PostgreSQL (oder anderen relationalen Datenbanken)
• Vertrautheit mit Git und kollaborativen Entwicklungs-Workflows

As a Full Stack Developer, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of our fast-growing smart metering domain. You will design and evolve backend, frontend, and data architecture with a strong focus on robustness and scalability.

You will proactively shape architectural direction and integration strategies in close collaboration with management.

Your profile

• 4–7 years of professional experience building and operating production systems as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong frontend skills in Angular + TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Solid knowledge of API design, integration architectures, and data processing patterns
• Experience with containerization and building/deploying services in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
• Experience with big data or time-series data
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in data transformation and processing
• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (OAuth2, JWT, token-based systems)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality assurance processes
• Architecture-focused mindset and ability to consider trade-offs and long-term impact
• Excellent communication skills

Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on frontend and customer-facing applications to help evolve our platform. In this role, you will work on modern user interfaces, data-driven features, and AI-supported product capabilities that are directly used by utilities and municipalities in their daily operations.

You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering to translate requirements into scalable and user-friendly solutions, and contribute across the stack where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance frontend features and reusable UI components
• Build dashboards and data-driven user interfaces
• Implement customer-facing product features with direct impact
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into the frontend
• Contribute to AI-supported features and intelligent workflows
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of new product capabilities

Your Profile

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (frontend or full stack)
• Solid knowledge of modern web technologies (TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g. Angular, React, or Vue)
• Understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures
• Experience working in collaborative product or research-driven environments
• Good English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience building dashboards or data visualization interfaces
• Backend experience (e.g. Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Django or similar)
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Experience integrating AI or data-driven features into applications
• Familiarity with Docker or cloud-based deployments
• Interest in scalable, production-oriented systems
